Two engineering students died in a road accident near Bilikere

Two engineering students died in a road accident after the car in which they were travelling in rammed into a goods vehicle on Tuesday. Two others escaped with injuries, police said.

The deceased have been identified as Mouneshwara Reddy (19) of Kolar and Tejas (20) of Arasikere, Hassan.

The incident happened when they were coming to Mysuru on Tuesday. Other two friends in the car Suhan and Subhankara saved unhurt. Mouleshwar Reddy who was in the car died on the spot while Tejas died on the way to hospital.

They are 2nd year students of Malnad Engineering College in Hassan. Two of their friends who were in the car are safe, the police stated. The incident happened near Ramenahalli around 12.30 am on Tuesday. Reddy died on the spot while Tejas breathed his last in hospital, Bilikere police said.
