Festival of lights - literally at Mysuru

The Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation made special lighting arrangements as part of the Dasara celebration to make Mysuru literally a Festival of Lights. The electric lighting decoration was extended until 10 pm every day until October 15th.

According to sources, the lighting system is made of around 102.9km in length. Around 40 traffic circles are decorated with Dasara lightings. The lighting will be on from 6.30 pm to 10 pm.

Many of Mysore's main roads are illuminated, such as Sayajirao Road, Devaraja Urs Road, Palace Road, Chamundibetta Road, Jumbo Safari routes, and many more. Electric lights in major circles have created attractive designs.
